Carrera is currently exploring for oil and natural gas in two specific basins in the United States with particular emphasis on the Permian Basin and Anadarko Basin. Our focus is on unconventional plays where horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracture stimulation provide the technology to unlock the reserve potential.

Anadarko Basin

In the Anadarko Basin, the Company has leased over 8,000 acres to date in a stacked, multi-pay unconventional prospect. Within the prospect Carrera has identified up to 8 potential reservoirs for horizontal drilling at true vertical depths ranging from 7,500 to 11,000 feet.

Permian Basin

Carrera continues to explore the Permian Basin and is working multiple horizontal drilling leads primarily in the rapidly developing and prolific Wolfcamp and Spraberry shales.
